OBITUARY
MRS. V. C. HOWE
At the early age of 20 years, Dorothy Jean Howe, wife of Mr. Victor Clyde Howe, of Tamworth Street, passed away at the Dubbo District Hospital yesterday morning.
Deceased, who was married about a year ago, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Armstrong, of Mogriguy. She was born at Dubbo and had lived her life in the district.
The sympathy of a large circle of friends is extended to her bereaved husband and parents.
The funeral will take place this morning at 11 o'clock, the cortege leav ing from the Church of England for the local cemetery. The Rev. C. W. Leavers will conduct the obsequies and W. Larcombe & Son have charge of the mortuary arrange ments.

OBITUARIES; MR. J. ARMSTRONG
Mr. James Armstrong, aged 80, died in the Dubbo Base Hospital on Tuesday night after a long illness.
A retired farmer and grazier, of Rocky Bend, Mogriguy, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Armstrong and was born at Mudgee.
His wife, who was formerly Miss Eliza Cleaver, died in 1950.
He is survived by two daughters, Ida (Mrs. H. Geisler, of Sydney) and Beryl (Mrs R.V. Dent, of Forbes);
and six sons, Robert, of Eumungerie; Lawrence, of Gilgandra, Stanley, of Baradine, and Harry, Carl and Norman of Mogriguy.
A stepbrother, Mr. H. Gore, of Bultge Street, also survives him.
The funeral left the Holy Trinity Church yesterday afternoon for the Church of England portion of the Dubbo cemetery. Messrs. C. J Shakespeare and Sons were the funeral directors.
