Isaac was baptized 19 Aug 1753 by Rev. Williams in the nearby Northford Congregational Church. The baptismal record does not specifically say that he was the son of Josiah and Phebe, but their other children were baptized there, as well as some of the children of Josiah and Lydia, who died in 1751, so was not the mother of Isaac.[1]
