WILL OF JACOB EBERHART
In the name of God, Amen. I, Jacob Eberhart Senior of the State of Georgia and County of Elbert, being vary weak in Body but of perfect mind and memory, thanks be given unto God, calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and declare this my last will and Testament that is to say principally and first of all, I give and recommend my soul to the hands of Almighty God that gave it and my body I Recommend to the earth, to be buried in Decent Christian burial at the discretion of my executors. Nothing Doubting but at the general Resurection I shall Receive the same again, by the mighty power of God, and as touchin such worldly Estate wherewith It has pleased God to bless me in this life, I give, Demise and Dispose of the Same In the following manner and form,
First, I give and bequeth to my Several children, Christenah MCelrath, Jacob Eberhart, David Eberhart, Catharine Patten, George Eberhart which I wish my whole Estate to be Devided amongest Equally, I Also constetute make and ordain these my three sons Jacob David and George __Eberhart the Executors of this my last Will and testament I Do hereby uterly Disallow, revoke and Disannul all and every other former testament wills legacies Bequested and Executed by me in any wise before named willed and bequethed. Gatefying and Confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament. I witness where of I have hereunto sett my hand and Seal this 26th Day of June In the year of our lord one thousand Eight Hundred and ten--
Signed and published prononounced and Delivered by the said Jacob Eberhart Senior of his last will and testament In the presents of us when In his presents and in the presence of each other have hereto Subscribed our names.

James Eberhart, Merrell Embry, John Russell being duly sworn say that they severally saw Jacob Eberhart the testator sign seal and publish the within last will and testament and that they severely signed their names as witnesses to the same in the said testators presents and that the said testator appeared to be of Sound Disposing mind and memory.

WILL OF SAMUEL PATTEN 1810
State of Georgia, Elbert Co. May the 12th 1810 I, Samuel Patten though weak in body yet sound in memory do constitute this my last will and testament as Follows (Viz) first my wish is that all my debts be discharged and then that all my property remain in the hands of my loving wife Catharine Patten for the support of my family During her widowhood and then that the hole of the property be sold and the childrens part Taken out and an Equal division be made amongst them excepting one Negro girl by the name of bet her I give to my loving Daughter Polly Patten besides her equal part and my Daughter Margaret to her I give one young colt which I know have exclusive of her equal part. and I do hereby appoint my Loving wife as above named and George Eberhart and William Patten my Lawful Executors In witness where of I do hereunto seet my name this day and date above mentioned.
