About Jacob Vilhelm Heiberg

He was born in Denmark in a village called Skamstrup some 60 kilometres west of Copenhagen in 1777.
His youngest brother was born in 'Skamstrup Præstegaard', the house of the preast in the town, so his father was a priest. The youngest brother seems to be the only child besides Jacob to travel as he died in London, England.
Jacob married in Cape Town 9/2 1806 and 2½ month later their first child was born.
So he must have arrived to Cape Town from Denmark before 1805, probably som time before.
He had a shop in Cape Town, but what kind of shop is not known (yet).
