Obituary, Jacob Henrich Retired Shoe Maker Passes Away At, 88. Jacob Henrich, 88, of 211 South Locust Street, died at his residence at 9:40 o'clock Saturday morning. Henrich was a pioneer resident of Massillon and was formerly engaged in the shoe business, he had been retired for a number of years. Henrich was born in Germany and came to Massillon when he was 18 years old. For 60 years he was a member of the Massillon band and active in musical circles. and was a member of the St. Mary's Church Choir. He is survived by four children, Mrs. Magy Kegler, Mrs. Anna Hammersmith, Mrs, Flora Seifert and George Henrich, all of Massillon. The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Church. Burial will be made in St. Mary's Cemetery. Canton Repository, Stark County, Ohio, Saturday, September 30, 1916, Page 5.
