Jim Tolley, 66, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2000.

Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Christian Church with the Rev. John Grand, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Westlawn Memorial Park, Garden of Evergreen, by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mr. Tolley was born in Princeton, WV. He had lived in Borger since 1959 and retired as chief probation officer from Hutchinson County.

He was a member and elder of the First Christian Church. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, the Isom Masonic Lodge No. 1242, the Borger Shrine, the Khiva Shrine Temple, and the El Paso Scottish Rite. He was a past member of the Lions Club.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Tolley; three sons, David Lee Tolley of Houston, James S. Tolley of Borger, and Joe Allen Tolley of Amarillo; three step-sons, Gary Saxon and Steve Saxon, both of Borger and Terry Saxon of Dallas; a daughter, Tobie Slaybaugh of Borger; a step-daughter, Carol Beckham of Borger; a sister, June Martin of Amarillo; 18 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, PO Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176-0001.
