Janet Bell Watt is the sister german of Mary Ann Watt (1858-88). Mary Ann Watt was the first wife of John Leod McDonald (October 22, 1854 - August 25, 1906). They married in 1881. Mary Ann Watt was born in 1858 and died July 21, 1888. They had four children Louis Michael, May Josephine, Laura Anna and Annie Christian, Following the death of Mary Ann Watt, John Leod McDonald remarried, He married Jannet Bell Watt, sister of Mary Ann, in 1892.
