Jessie Lee Knight

Jessie Lee Parks Knight age 83 of the Sunlight Community, Ellijay, GA. passed on Tuesday Morning, April 3rd, 2012. She was a member of sunlight Baptist Church, born August 28th, 1928 to her late parents James Sullivan and Hattie Elizabeth Fain Parks in Ellijay, GA. A graduate of Gilmer High School, class of 1945, she was a retiree of Gold Kist Poultry.

Survivors include daughters and son-in-law Carol and Billy Sales of Ellijay, GA., Judy Knight Dover of Ellijay, GA.; son and daughter-in-law Terry and Terri Knight of Ellijay, GA.; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; sister Mary Ruth Parks of Ellijay, GA.; brother David Parks of Ellijay, GA.; brother-in-law Jack Ledford of Ellijay, GA. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 6th, from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wallace Parks and Rev. Paul Richards officiating. A graveside interment will follow in the Sunlight Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Phillip Huskey, Chris Dover, Dustin Dover, Bill Quarles, Lee Knight, Jake Knight, Aaron Knight, Austin Quarles, and Tyler Huskey.

Family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 5th at the Logan Funeral Home and Chapel.
