John C. Sousa, age 82 of Somerset for 38 years. Passed away in Fall River May 29, 2008. Husband of Belmira (Pavao) Sousa. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, son of the late John C. Sousa and Francisca F. De Silva. Before retiring in 1987, he was a Machine Operator at Plymouth Rubber Co. for 24 years. He was a member of St. John of God Church.

Besides his wife, he is survived by 4 Children: Michael Sousa of New York City; John C. and Anthony Sousa both of Dade City, FL; and Connie Sousa of Highpoint, NC. 3 Sisters: Jo-Anne Campos and Erodina Ledo both of Somerset, and Olivia Costa of Plymouth. 3 Grandchildren & several nieces & nephews. He was also brother of the late Silvino C. & Antonio C. Sousa.
