Johan Stevens (1950 - 2015)

Brief overview:

Johan (65), former Principal of Danie Theron Primary School, was shot dead during an armed robbery when nine armed males stormed into Tops Liquor store in Kibler Park, on Thursday 9th July 2015.

"Lt-Col Katlego Mogale said police in Mondeor have launched a manhunt for about nine robbers. It is alleged that the group, some of whom were armed, stormed into the liquor outlet. “They pushed the security guard inside and proceeded to rob the establishment, stealing an undisclosed amount of cash, liquor and cigarettes,” Mongale explained."

The robbers wanted to take Johan's wallet, and when he resisted, he was shot.
