John Garwood

John was born to Quaker parents Thomas Garwood and Margaret Hancock in present Mount Laurel Township in Burlington County. He was age twenty-four when his father died and he received five Shillings from the Will. He wed Charity Wright, daughter of Josiah Wright and Elizabeth Brock, at Haddonfield MM in 1746. They lived in present Mt Laurel Township and had: 1) Hope in 1747 2) Israel in 1749 3) Priscilla in 1751 (wed John Wright)

John left a Will dated February 22, 1752 when he died.
