About John Taylor, of New Kent

William Taylor (1619 - 1660), son of John Taylor & his wife Anne (b 1598) and his son John came to Virginia on the ship Thomas and John in 1655 and settled in New Kent County. The name of William’s wife is not known.
John (1639 - 1698) married:
- Mary Wheeler. Their son was James (d 1719) m 1) Mary Gaines 2) Elizabeth Peasley
- Margaret (unknown). Their daughter was Sarah m Thomas William Underwood.
