John Wooldridge was a Virginia colonist.
John was born in 1733. He is the son of John Wooldridge.
On the 16th day of November 1780 John Wooldridge of Chesterfield County set his hand and affixed his seal to his Last Will and Testament leaving unto his son John Wooldridge all that tract or parcel of land lying in Bedford County which my said son now lives on & one Negro Fellow Punch which was formerly in his possession & one shilling sterling.[1] Based on land conveyances by his son, James Wooldridge, the family lived in the Cubb Creek area which is shown on the 1770 Virginia map in Charlotte County between Bedford County and Prince Edward County.
He passed away in 1782.[2] John died after the 16th of November 1780 (date of father's will), and before June 1783 (date son, James Wooldridge, sold lands.)
