Josef Ruven Lichtenstein was born in Lodz, Poland in 1878 to Shmuel Zanwel and Rivka. He was an industrialist and married to Gitel. Prior to WWII he lived in Starachowice, Poland. During the war he was in Starachowice, Poland.
