About Joseph Crowley
Joseph W. Crowley Jr. passed away after a lengthy illness on Wednesday mor ning, April 2, 2008, at the age of 85. He was surrounded by his loving fam ily.
A longtime resident of Millville, Joseph was one of the original membe rs of St. John Bosco Church. He was a graduate of Millville High School a nd proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army Air For ce. Joseph was a former truck driver for Consolidated Freightways in Vinel and.
He was predeceased by his wife, Jean.
Joseph is survived by his daughter, Rosemarie Willis and her husband Willi am; stepdaughter, Nadine Gatto; eight sisters, Dora Perreca, Betty Cossabo on, Mildred Fuller, Joan McDonnell and husband Ben, all of Millville, Marg aret Hollinger and husband Warrington of Port Norris, Irene Browne of Vine land, Rose Hackett, and Mary Bakke and husband Russell of Florida; three g randsons, Todd, Ronald A. and Michael Harvey, all of Millville; five great -grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a viewing from 10 to 11a.m. Monday at St. John Bosco Churc h, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Buri al will follow Mass in Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joseph's memory to St. John B osco Church, 2 Hillcrest Ave, Millville, NJ 08332.
Arrangements are under the direction of Barr Funeral Home in Millville.
