About Joseph Goldsmith
Joseph came with his parents as a baby to England in 1765. In 1781 he married in the Church of England to Lucy Offwood and was disowned by his parents but remained close to his sister Mary (also known as Maria and Mariana) who was later known as Mrs Mary Lewis mistress of George IV and employee of Princess Charlotte of Wales.
