Kenard Lee Carson

In addition to his parents, Kenard is preceded in death by his son: Howard Kenny Carson; mother and father-in-law: Rev. John Riley and Cora Lee Byrd; brothers: Freddy, Marion, Charles and Billy Carson; sisters: Freda and Wanda Carson.

Kenard is survived by his wife of 62 years: Martha Carson; sons: Johnny Carson of Pine Knot, KY and Ricky Carson and wife Dawn of Somerset, KY; daughters: Pam Upchurch and husband Terry of Somerset, KY, and Sherry New and husband Randy of Whitley City, KY; daughter-in-law: Kathy Carson; grandchildren: Kendra, Derrick, Teri Lynn, Ricky Douglas, Shawn, Kierstan, Brandon, Amanda, Nathaniel and Jordan; great grandchildren: Ryan, Austin, Brooklyn, Lexie, Cambria, Railey, Kendyl, Christian, Kennedy, Ella and Abram; brothers: Jimmy Carson and wife Jeanie, Freddy Carson and wife Carol; sisters: Gereda Phillips and the late Crawford Phillips, Phyllis Griffith and husband Doug, Patricia Hill and husband Bobby; several nieces, nephews; special friends since 1962 George and Shirley Edmonds; and many other family members and friends.
