Klaus Martin Wolf (1935 - March 2019 at Hildesheim), son of the photographer and author Curt Julius Wolf, was a writer and journalist in the former East Germany who died at Hildesheim in March, 2019, aged 84 years old. His freedom of expression was curtailed by the East German state, otherwise he might have been more prolific. His best-known work is the novel "Marathon ohne Medaille", "Buch der Jugend" (Marathon without medal, Book of the Youth) published in 1962, Berlin, Sportverlag and in 1963 in Berlin, Buchgemeinschaft der FDJ im Verlag Neues Leben.

The book, consisting of 450 pages, is a novel set in Berlin-Charlottenburg im 1932/3.
