About Landon Donovan
Landon Timothy Donovan (born March 4, 1982) is an American soccer player currently playing for the Los Angeles Galaxy and the United States men's national team. He has played for Bayer Leverkusen, San Jose Earthquakes, Bayern Munich, and Everton. He usually plays as a withdrawn forward for the Galaxy, but he is just as effective as an attacking midfielder on either wing playing for the U.S.
Donovan was born in Ontario, California, to Donna Kenney-Cash (née Kenney), a special education teacher, and Tim Donovan, a Canadian-born semi-professional ice hockey player. He has an older brother named Josh Donovan and a twin sister named Tristan Donovan. Donovan's parents divorced when he was two years old.
Donovan married actress Bianca Kajlich on December 31, 2006; the couple separated in July 2009, and Donovan filed for divorce in December 2010.
