Miss Landon Carter Reed, daughter of Major General and Mrs. Walter L. Reed were married a week ago last Saturday in London, England to Dr. John Kirkpatrick Monro, son of Dr. and Mrs. J. D. R. Monro of Richmond, Surrey, England. Miss Reed was here with her parents from 1923 to 1928 when General Reed attended the summer class and was a member of the staff at the Naval War College.

Monro, Landon on 2nd April 2006 at Sutton Scotney in her 100th year. Beloved widow of Jack, and much loved by her children Jim and Mary (O'Dwyer) and their families. Private cremation.
