Leonard Louis Devlugt, better known as dutchy, was Born in Suriname in 1892, he came to Trinidad in 1920, he died on December 19, 1978.

Husband of Irene, Father, of Louis, Peter, Eugene, Ottmar, Rudolph, Leo, Orville, Susan, Dorinda, Angela, Anthony, and Elvira.

He was a prominent church man, who played the saxophone, flute, Guitar, piano & trumpet.

From an early age he encouraged his Children to play something, and it was not long before they Themselves joined him in the band before they emerged as The Dutchy Brothers Orchestra, who during the 60’s “made mas”, with their unique Musical styling throughout Trinidad & Tobago and the Carrribean he was also San fernando’s most famous Barber.

Spoke Seven Languages Fluently, including: French, German, Spanish, Dutch, English, Patois.
