He married Jane Champernoun, daughter of Sir Philip Champernoun, Sheriff of Devonshire and Katherine Carew, before 1531; They had 2 sons (John, Esq; & Thomas) & 5 daughters (Margaret, wife of Miles Matthew, Esq., of Thomas Lewis, Esq., & of Capt. William Herbert; Elinor (wife of William Lewis; Elizabeth/Anne/Catherine, wife of Watkin Lougher; Joyce, wife of John Gwyn; Joan; & Anne).1 Robert Gamage, Esq., Justice of the Peace for Glamorgan left a will on 27 October 1570.1 His estate was probated on 4 January 1571.1
