Louis Gubry - Funeral services were held Monday morning, Dec 2nd at St.Mary's church, Rev. Fr, Francis V.McCormick officiating, for Louis Bubry(sic), of Locke township, who died Thurs morning, Nov 28th at the St.Lawrence hospital. Burial was made in Mt.Calvary cemetery. Mr.Gubry was born in Alsace Loraine, Jun 7, 1877. He has lived in Locke Township for 27yrs. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Barbara Gubry and 8 children: Mrs. Ray Thorstad & Mrs Agnes Gubry of Lansing, Mrs Gerald Quinn of Saginaw, John Gubry of Tiffin, OH, Ernest Gubry of Battle Creek and Fred, Robert & Miss Barbara Ann Gubry of Williamston; 10 grandchildren; 2 sisters & a brother: Mrs Mary Stanley of Detroit, Miss Tillie Gubry & Hubert Gubry of Morrice.
