About Lt. Daniel Morgan Wilcoxson
Lieutenant in the Revolutionary War. Daniel Wilcoxson, served as a Lieutenant in the Revolutionary War, was at siege of Bryant's Station, was in General Clark's Expeditions. Served September 1778 to the fall of 1783. Served under Captain William Hogan, Captain Robert Johnston.

David was the first born of John Wilcoxson and Sarah (Boone) Wilcoxson. They were married May 29, 1742 and because Sarah was a Quaker and John was not, (and she was pregnant at the time) it caused problems in her church; however, her family stood by them and they moved. Their first born David Wilcoxson was born Oct 22, 1742.

Documentation states that Daniel and his wife Sarah are buried on the Brewer Farm which is located 2 miles East of Bagdad,KY. It is located on Vigo Rd about 15 feet from the North side of a barn directly under a tree.
