"Ludovic Grant, of Dalvey, br. and h., suc. to the Baronetcy (as heir male) in 1695, and was retoured heir gen. and heir special in Dalvey to his br., 14 May 1695. He, however, probably from political motives, did not assume the Baronetcy. He d. s.p. legit. 4 Jan. 1701."
