Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Hoch, wife of George Hoch, 236 N. Tryon, who died at her home, following a continued illness of several months, were held from the Grace Lutheran Church at 2:30 p.m. Monday, the Rev. Roger C. Kaufman officiating.

Mrs. Hoch was born at Greenwood on July 16, 1915 and was the only child of Andrew and Mrs. Steffensen.

She was graduated from the Woodstock Community High School in 1933. Besides providing a comfortable and happy home for her family, Mrs. Hoch found time to devote to the Girl Scout activities, but was particularily interested in piano and was organist at the Grace Lutheran Church.

Besides her husband, she leaves two children, Jerome, 11 and Barbara Jeanie, 9 and her parents.
