Mary Jane Bramlett

Birth: Feb. 20, 1840 Death: Mar. 27, 1920

Mary Jane was the daughter of Alexander Porter Woody and Violet McCurry. She married Elisha Lafayette Bramlett on July 12, 1860 in Fannin County, GA. Her family name is well known in the Blue Ridge area and is attached to many local features such as Woody Branch, Woody Lake, The Woody School and the well known Woody Gap and Woody Gap Trail, a part of the Appalachian trail in the Chattahoochee National Forrest.

Their children were:

John C. Bramlett. 1861 - 1921 Andrew Jackson Bramlett. 1865 - 1942 Elisha Tecumseh Bramlett. 1867 - 1906 Georgeanna Bramlett. Born about about 1870 Robert J. Bramlett. Born in June 1873 June Bramlett.
