This Mary resembles Mary Mackay (shown here as another wife of her husband Alexander Mckeamish Gunn). Are they supposed to be the same person? Further research is warranted.
Mary, married Hector Munro, brother and successor of Colonel Robert Munro of Fowlis. Hector, who joined Lord Eeay's regiment, became a colonel, and was created a bart., 7th June, 1634. He died at Hamburgh, 1635, leaving a son, Sir Hector, who died without issue, and three daus.
Dame Mary Mackay, Lady Fowlis, married, secondly, her cousin, Alexr Gunn of Killearnan, Chief 1 of Gunn, son of William and grandson of Alexr. Gunn of Killearnan, the latter having married her aunt, as has already been shown. Dame Mary bore to Alexr. Gunn a son and a daughter, viz., John and Catherine, the latter of whom married her cousin, Lieut.-Col. the Hon. Angus Mackay of Melness, progenitor of the Melness Mackays. pg 123-124
