Obituary from Shullsburg, WI Pick and Gad newspaper:
"NETHARY--In Shullsburg, Friday, Feb 9, 1877, Mrs. Mary Nethary, age 66 years and 6 mos. Mrs. Nethary was born in Ireland, and came to this county in 1849, where she has since resided. At the time of her death, she was the mother of 9 children, grandmother, of 61, and great grandmother of 75, making a total of 145. She was much respected, and for a long time a member of the Congregational church, at Shullsburg. The funeral was attended by a large concourse of friends and relatives." Pick and Gad Newspaper, 1877
