About Michael B. Karper
Michael B. Karper, 41, of 2438 Lindsay Lot Road, Shippensburg, died at 7:59 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 1997 at his home.
Born January 29, 1956, in Chambersburg, he was a son of Ruth (Kann) and Luther Karper III, Shippensburg.
Prior to his illness he owned and operated Karper Brothers Custom Carpentry. He was a member of the Lone Star Hunting Club.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Cheryl L. Zanzini Karper; one daughter, Crystal D., Chambersburg; one stepson, Aron R. Shoap, Shippensburg; five brothers, Jamie L., Newburg; Steven D., Orrstown; Luther S., Matthew A., Timothy J. and seven sisters, Marcia L., Brenda K., April R. Rotz, Susan J. Ressler, Candace E. Warren, Lorrie A. Highlands, all of Shippensburg; Pati D. Knepper, Chambersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a stepson, Keith A. Shoap.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg, with the Rev. Robert Myers officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg.
Visitation will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
