Nellie Parks was born October 15, 1886 in Blossom, Lamar County, Texas, daughter of Thomas Ferron Parks and Harriett Gertrude (Johnson) Parks.

On October 16, 1904, she married Wesley Mathius Walker.

On November 29, 1981, Nellie (Parks) Walker, age 95, died in Lamar County, TX, with burial in the Highland Cemetery, Deport, Lamar County, Texas.
