About Neville Cawas Bardoliwalla
Cawas Jehangirji Bardoliwalla
My father was born in Bombay and attended The Sir J.J.P.B. Institution and was to be the highest amongst those who passed The S.S.C. Examination in 1953. He subsequently went on to achieve a first Class Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Bombay's Technical Institute for Science and Technology. He was subsequently awarded a full honorary Scholarship from The ex-students Jubilee fund to further his studies at London’s Imperial College of Science and Technology. During his time at Imperial College he worked alongside Professor D.B. Spalding CBE in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Heat Transfer and Combustion (1958 to 1961) and was later awarded The Prestigious Diploma of Membership of The Imperial College (D.I.C.). He was a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE) and inducted as a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). He was subsequently appointed Senior Architect for Rolls Royce & Bentley Motors UK Ltd. Three months prior to his death he was due to be appointed Head of Aerospace Architectural Engineering and Design at Rolls Royce Aerospace (Civil & Defence) Division in Crewe, UK. Sadly he passed away aged 44 years in March 1978 due to heart failure. Deeply missed.
Your Sincerely,
Neville Cawas Bardoliwalla OBE
