About Nicole Brown Simpson
Nicole was born in Frankfurt, West Germany to Juditha Anne and Louis Hezekiel Brown. The family later moved to Garden Grove, Orange County, California, where she grew up.
As a child she attended Gilbert Elementary School, Skylark Elementary School, Simmons Elementary (6th grade in Mentally Gifted Minor program), Hare Intermediate School and later to Rancho Alamitos High School before moving to Monarch Bay, west of Dana Point, Orange County California, in her junior year along with younger sisters Dominique and Tanya and older sister Denise. Nicole Brown was elected one of the homecoming princesses at Dana Hills High School (the other was her sister Denise).
Brown met O. J. Simpson in June 1977 while working as a waitress at a Beverly Hills nightclub, Daisy. Although he was still married to his first wife Marguerite, Simpson and Brown began dating. Simpson and Marguerite divorced in March 1980. Brown and Simpson were married on February 2, 1985, five years after his retirement from professional football. They had two children together, Sydney Brooke (born October 17, 1985) and Justin Ryan Simpson (born August 6, 1988). The marriage lasted seven years, during which Simpson pleaded no contest to spousal abuse in 1989. Brown filed for divorce in 1992 citing "irreconcilable differences".
On June 12, 1994, Nicole's and her friend Ron Goldman's bodies were found slain in the front of her Brentwood, Los Angeles County, California home. He was returning a pair of sunglasses, she was eating ice cream. Nicole's ex-husband OJ Simpson is and was the main suspect, but he was acquitted. A 1997 judgment against Simpson for their wrongful deaths was awarded in civil court, and to date he has paid little of the $33.5 million judgment.

Janet Milburn 5/29/23
Murder victim. She and a casual friend, Ronald Goldman, were found stabbed to death just outside the front door of her Brentwood, Los Angeles condominium. Ronald Goldman, a waiter at a nearby restaurant, was returning eyeglasses that she had accidentally left there at dinner that night. A tall, beautiful blonde, she became the homecoming queen of her high school. She met Orenthal James (O.J.) Simpson soon after her graduation from high school when she was 18 and he was 30 years old. He was a Heisman Trophy winner, a former professional football star, and a rising movie and television actor. They married on February 2, 1985, and she soon became a mother of two children, Sydney and Justin. Citing spousal abuse, she divorced Simpson in 1992, winning a $433,000 cash settlement and $10,000 per month in child support. In a highly televised and controversial "Trial of the Century," running from December 1994 to October 1995, O.J. Simpson was acquitted of the murders after it was found that a police investigator, Detective Mark Fuhrman, had lied on the witness stand. In a later civil court case concluded in February 1997, brought by Ronald Goldman's father, Simpson was found guilty of wrongful death and ordered to pay $33.5 million dollars to the Goldman family. Simpson declared bankruptcy and never paid the money.
