Norma Arsola

Norma Jean Arsola, age 74, of Hastings, died Aug. 26, 2008, at home.

She was born Nov. 5, 1933, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Joseph J. and Lonnie Mae (Ponder) George. She married Adolfo Arsola Sept. 21, 1956, in Reno, Nev.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Billy Joe and John Edward Barragan; and three siblings.

She is survived by her husband, Adolfo; children, James Alfred Barragan and Michael V. (Sara) Arsola, both of Hastings, Rose Marie Arsola of Ellsworth, Wis., Martin S. (Gina) Arsola, and Laura M. (Keith) Garrick of Hastings; 15 grandchildren, Christina (Christopher) Lundgaard of Red Wing, Brian (Stephanie) Barragan of Santee, Calif., Joel (Jamie) Barragan of Logan, Utah, Christopher Barragan of Santee, Calif., Natisha (Monty) Inglish of River Falls, Wis., Richard Beam, Stephan and Joshua Beam of Ellsworth, Wis., Amie (Joshua) Weekes Randall of Santee, Julie Weeks Gomez of Ammon, Idaho, Sara Arsola of Goodhue, Minn., Natalie Arsola of Hastings, Joseph Hanenberger of Zumbrota, and Michael Hanenberger and Emily Garrick of Hastings; and seven great-grandchildren.

Private family services were held.
