Oleksandra Pokinsky

Oleksandra Pokinsky lived with her sister Paulina in their own home in Stryi, Ukraine, where an oil portrait was kept of their father Rev. Ivan Pokinsky, painted by an unknown artist. The artist had also painted the portraits of Rev. Stepan Petrushevych, the parish priest in Dobriany and of his son Rev. Petro Petrushevych, the parish priest in Rudy, near Kokhavyny. The portrait of Rev. Ivan Pokinsky remained in Stryi, but its whereabout are unknown following the Bolshevik occupation in 1944. They were the youngest children of Rev. Ivan Pokinsky. Oleksandra died in 1920. She was never married.
