Ora Wesley McMahan, born June 15, 1923, died peacefully at age 82 on Mond ay morning, February 20, 2006, at Sevier County Health Care Center. He w as a veteran of the United States Army, being discharged in 1944. Ora w as a member of Wrights Ferry Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by parents Allen and Gertie McMahan, sons John a nd Steve McMahan, grandsons Wesley Finchum and Johnny Rex McMahan, sist er Lois Patterson, brothers Ray, Robert, Otha, Elmer, Frank, and Ralph McM ahan, and the mother of his children Mable Ogle McMahan.

He leaves behind his: Children and their spouses: Ruby and Dotsy Ogle, Mary and Kenneth Finchu m, Ray McMahan, Rex and Nedra McMahan, Pat and Clay Sutton, Katie McMaha n, Bill and Juanita McMahan 13 Grandchildren 18 Great-grandchildren 1 Great-great-grandchild Brothers and sisters-in-law: Homer and Jessy McMahan, Walter and Phyllis M cMahan A host of nieces, nephews, and friends

Funeral service 7 PM Wednesday in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home wi th Rev. Clay Sutton officiating. Interment 11 AM Thursday in Knob Creek Ce metery. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday at Atchley Funer al Home, Sevierville. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
