About Paul Michael Hill
From Northern Ireland, living in England during the IRA's bombing campaign in the early 1970's, was jailed for 15 yrs. for an IRA bombing that an appeals court judged he played no part in. His only "crime" was being a working-class nationalist from Northern Ireland. Once freed, he became a human-rights activist. His calamitous personal history was later dramatized in the film, "In the Name of the Father." He addressed the Congressional Human Rights Caucus in Washington.
They married aboard a yacht on the Aegean Sea off the coast of Greece.
