Nov. 1797 ; m. ist (setts, dated 4 Feb. 1824), Mary Ann, dau. of Philip Homan Baldwin, of Cloneygowan, Queens Co., Capt. H.E.I.C.S. " From this citation -- Philip Homan Baldwin was a captain in the Honorable East India Company.

From 'A pedigree, with personal sketches, of the Falkiners of Mount Falcon' compiled by Richard Baldwin Falkiner. Dublin: Dollard, 1894. "Philip Homan Baldwin (younger son of Henry Baldwin and Margaret Homan), Captain H.E.I. Co. Service (Madras), of Cloneygowan, King's County, whose will was proved in the Prerogative, Dublin, in 1811, married Eleanour, daughter of Edward O'Brien, by Barbara Aylward his wife, and had two sons, Eyre and Henry, and two daughters, the elder of whom, Ellen Baldwin, married Richard Eyre. Mary Anne Baldwin, younger daughter of Philip Homan Baldwin, married Nathaniel Falkiner."

From Register of Irish Freemasons: Philip Homan Baldwin was registered as a member of Lodge No. 478 in the 17th Regiment of Dragoons. His date of registration was 18th November 1774 and his certificate was issued that day.
