The Grave stone reads birth 1/1/1850 and name is Maximillian, but his father was born 1832 and his mother was born 1835, so 1850 does not make sense (Rafi Kornfeld)
Max Freiherr von Waldberg From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Max Freiherr von Waldberg (1858—1938) was a professor of modern literature at the University of Heidelberg in Germany. After World War I, one of his students was future Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels. Nevertheless, because of his Jewish ancestry, von Waldberg was one of several Heidelberg professors forced to retire in April 1933, when the Third Reich passed a Civil Service Law to remove university faculty members of "non-Aryan" descent.[1] Von Waldberg was also a famous cat enthusiast, possessing over 30 at one time.
