Miramichi - Mr. Ralph Gilliss, husband of Marion Gilliss, of the North Napan Road, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 25, 2005, at the age of 69., he was the son of the late William and Freda (Neilsen) Gilliss. He was a retired forty-four year employee of the Northumberland Dairy. He was a member of Bishop Hill Council # 1219, Knights of Columbus, Miramichi. He was a member of St. Michaels Basilica, Miramichi., all of Miramichi; two sons, Paul Gilliss (Norma) and David Gilliss (Karen), all of Napan; seven sisters, Aletha Constable (Joseph), of Riverview, Ruth Clarke, of Toronto, Ont., Evelyn Davenport (Jerry), of Victoria, B.C., Isabel Smith (John), of Dartmouth, N.S., Arlene MacNaughton, of Upper Black River, Chris Sturgeon (Roland), of Napan and Pauline Myles (Terry), of Boom Road; two brothers, Harry Gilliss, of Boston, Mass., USA and Carl Gilliss (Elaine), of Miramichi; six grandchildren, Sarah, Nathan, Brendan, Emily, Sophie and Grace; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
