MARTIN, Rebecca (Mrs. Clayton H.) Peacefully on Thursday, December 31, 2009 in her 87th year, of R.R. 1, Wallenstein. Beloved wife of Clayton H. Martin. Mother of Elsie Shantz of R.R. 1, West Montrose, Verna and Abner Martin of R.R. 1, Wallenstein. Survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Sister of Malinda and Alson Clemmer. Sister-in-law of Maryann Bowman. Predeceased by her parents Solomon and Judith Bowman, one brother, two sisters, one son-in-law Osiah Shantz and one granddaughter in infancy. Friends called at her home on Friday from 1 - 7 p.m., where funeral service will be held on Saturday (today) January 2, 2010 at 9 a.m., then to Peel Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
