Robert Marshall

Robert Marshall, 84, passed away Thursday at his home. Mr. Marshall was a native of Richmond, a son of the late John F. and Sally McQueen Marshall. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Marshall was of the Holiness faith, and enjoyed visiting different churches. He enjoyed fishing, singing and playing guitar. Robert was a wonderful storyteller who never met a stranger. His favorite thing was to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers J.W., Joe, and Clayton Marshall, as well as his sister Gracie Harris.

Survivors include his children Kenny (Teresa) Marshall, Benny (Cathy) Marshall, Denny (Misty) Marshall, Timothy (Peggy) Marshall, and Cathy Ray; his brothers James and Walter Marshall; his sister Willie Davis; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 26th, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Madison Memorial Gardens.
