

He owned an estate for life adjoining Garsden Common, where there is a piece of pasture land of about 12 acres that now bears the name Gantlett's Cow Leaze. He died in the year 1680 and was buried in Garsden Church, where there was an inscription to his memory but when the church was restored it was taken down and put in the family tomb in the churchyard.
