About Ronald J Riggi
Graduated Niagara Falls High School in 1962 and enlisted in USAF that summer. Graduated from Regents College 1973 (Associates degree), SUNY College of Technology (Bachelors in Behavioral Science), SUNY Binghamton (Masters in Management Science), Community College of the Air Force (Educational Technology). Completed doctoral coursework at SUNY Albany and Syracuse University but did not complete doctorate. AF assignments included; Incirlik Turkey; Mountain Home AFB, Idaho; Plattsburgh AFB, NY; Griffiss AFB, NY; Offutt AFB, NE (Strategic Air Command headquarters) and DaNang AB, Vietnam. Retired in 1982 in Rome NY. Taught college (Program Director and Assistant Professor) for New School for Social Research, Graduate School of Management and Urban Professions) for 5 years. Also taught for Baker College Online, the University of Phoenix Online, and the University of Southern California. Moved to Phoenix Arizona and became a stockbroker with local penny stock firm. Moved to local full service brokerage, and then on to big name firm - Merrill Lynch. Returned to government work as a civilian employee of the USAF in 1989 and spent 18 years with them before retiring as a mid level civilian GS-13. Assignments included; Luke AFB in Phoenix AZ; Pacific Air Force headquarters at Hickam AFB, Hawaii; Davis Monthan AFB, AZ (Education Officer); Maxwell AFB, Al (deputy chief of senior members for National Headquarters of Civil Air Patrol), Pentagon (chief of graduate education programs for the USAF and worked there on 9/11); McGuire AFB, NJ (Education Officer) and Dover AFB, DE (Chief of Education and Training). Numerous awards and decorations from 38 years of federal service. Stepfather of Joellen.
