Rosa was married to Charles Francis Elkins, Setpember 5, 1897, in Tulia. They had at least 7 children. Her husband, Charles, died June 2, 1947 in Amarillo, TX. His body was sent to Tulia to be buried next to his wife. Family story has it that on Charles headstone is listed the wrong year of death, 1946.
