About Roxy Byankee Browning
Mrs. Byankee Browning, 67, of Soperton, died unexpectedly at her home Wednesday, June 27. A native of Wheeler County, she had lived in Soperton for four months. She was a member of the Methodist Church and was married to the late John Browning.
Funeral services were conducted at 3:30 P.M. Friday, June 29, from the Shiloh Methodist Church with the Rev. J.E. Harvill, of Dublin, and the Rev. Mr. Coley, of Alamo, officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery under the direction of Sammons Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Aubrey Pittman, W.C. Pittman, Mack Osborne, Otis Camp, Dewitt Seabolt, and Curtis McAlum.
Survivors include four sons, J.H. Browning, Winder, Omer Browning, Dade City, Fla., Delton Browning, Dublin, and Gerell Browning, Soperton; three daughters, Mrs. Moena Kinchen, Soperton, Mrs. Louise Dorsey, Griffin, Mrs. Hazel Bell, Glenwood; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Belle Seabolt, Alamo, Mrs. Love Adams, Thomaston; three brothers, Silas Browning, Atlanta, George and Herchel Browning, Tampa, Fla.
