September 12, 1888 Alliance Review, Alliance, Stark County, Ohio Mrs Sarah Roath, wife of Lorenzo Roath, and known to a host of relatives and friends as "Aunt Sally," died on Monday night at Lexington Four Corners, in the home she had occupied for nearly forty years. Mrs. Roath, who was seveny-three years old, was a noted figure among the remaining early settlers of old Lexington, a good wife, faithful mother, true friend and sincere Christian, and from youth a communicant of the M. E. Church. She leaves a husband and several grown childe, all married except John, who resides on the homestead. The funeral takes place today at 1P.M.
