According to the MyHeritage-matches of Roger Fleischmann and Peter Friedmann there was the following problem with his parents:

With the date of birth: May 15th, 1843, it's hard to believe that Samuel was the son of Ezekiel Fleischmann, née 1778 and of his wife Bianca, née 1786, that would have been 57 years old when Samuel was born: possible but very strange! Perhaps we can find a trace and he was a grandson of Ezekiel? And yes: he was the grandson of Ezechiel and the son of Wolf Fleischmann!! (Thomas Föhl)
