A faint copy of this register was kindly sent to me by Richard (Dick) Timson (1927-2006) whose great grandparents were Alice and Samuel. Dick's grandfather was Ernest Alfred Timson (1865-1914), a Railway Clerk who married Ellen Tinning in England c.1897 before emigrating to Australia in 1902. Their son, Ernest Lionel (1900-1975) was Dick's father. EL's younger brother, Frank, was an MP of the Australian Government who, in 1954, attended the Queen's Coronation at Westminster Abbey. He apparently took the opportunity to visit Berkhamsted during his visit and was able to obtain some information about the Berkhamsted Timsons which included a copy of this register.

Dick's twin sons are Richard Frank (RF) and Ernest Mark (1961) and his two daughters are Ann (1956) and Mary (1959). It was through RF's wife, Lia (Nigueira) Timson, who was researching the website www.genealogy.com, that I was introduced to her father-in-law. Thank you Lia.
