Sarah Burwell

Sarah (Sally) Nelson Burwell, daughter of Thomas Nelson & Frances Houston, was born in Yorktown, Va., about 1722; she married, about 1742, Colonel Robert Carter Burwell (of Isle of Wright County, Va.). He was a brother of Elizabeth (called Betty) Burwell, wife of President William Nelson.

Their children are:

• 1. Nathaniel Burwell Nelson, of Lancaster County, Va., married Miss Mary Wormeley, of Middlesex County, Va..
• 2. Frances Burwell (called Fannie) Page, first wife of Governor John Page.
